Karnataka State Revenue Services (Cadre and
Recruitment) Rules 2026
The draft of the Karnataka State Revenue Services (Cadre and Recruitment) Rules
2026, which the government of karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the powers
conferred by section 3 read with Section 8 of Karnataka Civil Services Act 1978 (Karnataka
Act 14 of 1990) is hereby published as required by clause (a) of sub section 2 of section 3
of the said Act, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is
hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration after the expiry of
15 (Fifteen) days from the date of its publication in the official gazette.
Any objections or suggestionsin Writing, with their complete address and
signature,which may be received by the state government from any person, with respect to
the said draft before the expiry of the period specified above, will be considered by the
State Government. Objections and suggestions may be addressed to the Additional Chief
Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department, 5th floor, Multistoried building,
Dr.B.R.AmbedkarVeedhi, Bengaluru 560001.
1.Title, commencement and application: -
(1) These rules may be called the Karnataka State Revenue Services (Cadre and
Recruitment) Rules 2026.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Method of recruitment and Minimum Qualificationetc:- The Karnataka State
Revenue Services shall consist of the categories of posts with the scale of pay specified in
columns (2)of the schedule below, the total number of posts, the method of recruitment
and the minimum qualifications, shall be as specified in the corresponding entries in
column no. (3) (4), (5), (6)& (7) thereof.
3. Repeal and Savings:-
The Karnataka General Services (Revenue Subordinate Branch) (Cadre &Recruitment)
Rules 1977 are hereby repealed:
Provided that such repeal shall not affect:
a) The previous operation of the said rules or anything duly done or any action
taken under: or
b) Any right,privilege,obligations or liability acquired, accrued or incurred under
the said rules.
