The High Court of
Karnataka Service (Conditions of Service and Recruitment) (II Amendment) Rules, 2025
In exercise of powers conferred under Article 229 (1) & (2) of the Constitution of
India read with Rules 6 and 7 of the High Court of Karnataka Service (Conditions of Service
and Recruitment) Rules, 1973, as amended from time to time and all other powers enabling
thereunto, Hon’ble the Chief Justice makes the following Rules to amend the High Court of
Karnataka Service (Conditions of Service and Recruitment) Rules, 1973 (hereinafter referred
to as the “Principal Rules”).
I. Title and Commencement: (1) These rules may be called as “The High Court of
Karnataka Service (Conditions of Service and Recruitment) (II Amendment) Rules, 2025”.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of publication in the Karnataka Gazette.
II. Amendment to Schedule-I:- Schedule-I appended to the Principal Rules shall be
amended as follows:
Under the heading Group-‘A’ the entries against Sl.No.7 (Secretary to
Hon’ble the Chief Justice) shall be deleted.
III. Amendment to Schedule-II:- Schedule-II appended to the Principal Rules shall
be amended as follows:-
Under the heading Group-‘A’ the entries against Sl.No.5 (Secretary to
Hon’ble the Chief Justice) shall be deleted.
IV. Amendment to Schedule-III:- Schedule-III appended to the Principal Rules shall
be amended as follows:-
Under the heading Group-‘A’ the entries against Sl.No.7 (Secretary to
Hon’ble the Chief Justice) shall be deleted.
